The night Voldemort killed them, this is what they were doing during the day, lets see how far the story gets. I'll start, next post carries on the sentence and starts their own to make a story Lilly and James got up around 9am, and Lilly went straight to change Harry's nappy while James....

to stay inside as it was cold. On Dumbldore's orders, James didn't open the curtains, instead he turned the TV on but kept the volume down as Harry was....

moved awkwardly in his seat as he turned ITV on. He was greeted by Eamon Holmes on GMTV. Then the screen changed to report more deaths. James thought he knew who was causing them and he thought of he wife. He looked at Harry and ....

realised he didn't want to lose all of what he had. For the first time in his life James was scared, he had always be a arrogant young man, yet age had made him wiser. He now had a lot to lose, he started to realise that some things were out of his control. Lily's singing bought him out of his trance...

"I am fully aware James", her tone was very harsh, though james felt no hurt through this. He could sence the underlying scaredness in her voice. James hated awaiting orders, being locked up in his house, he was a man of action, yet he had been confined to a small space just big enough to occupy a young couple and their son. A noise made by this son, alerted them both...

Harry was giggling and pointing to the Television.
James sensed that his son knew what was going on, he kept this from Lilly so not to alarm her.

toast, he caught the floating glass of orange juice with the skill of someone who had been doing so for many centuries. Floating objects always kept Harry amused, though the amount of magic used was being limitted in the Potter household. The portters were trying to appear as muggle as possible, something james found very difficult. he had grown lazy and taken his magic for granted, on many occassions he would....

... but under Dumbledore's orders, he couldn't do that. Not at the moment anyway. The day past slowly, and at lunchtime, Lilly cooked.... (sorry I think this is such a good thread! )

their usual meal, the day seemed like any other. Even with all the fear surrounding them lily and james continued their lives as normal...

except they didn't leave the house. Lilly took Harry upstairs for his afternoon sleep around half past 2. She then returned downstairs to help James clear the walls, as Harry decided he didn't want to eat his tomato soup ( ) During Eastenders Omnibus, Harry woke up crying...

it was strange that even a small child could tell what was coming, the innocence of the child was being tainted by something very very evil in the vicinity
